Unpacking the VisionThe Challenge
Editors lacked a centralized, role-aware CMS and had no reliable preview or analytics in context. Performance on content-heavy pages lagged, and SEO hygiene was inconsistent across categories and authors.
Vision RealizedFrom Concept to Reality
• Custom CMS with roles for writers, editors, and publishers, including draft previews and scheduled/embargoed publishing.
• Visual homepage and category curation with sections, hero slots, and pinned stories.
• Optimized article pages (typography, reading width, dark mode, related content, share metadata).
• SEO foundations: clean slugs, canonical/OG tags, article schema, news sitemap, robots control.
• Performance: image CDN + formats (WebP/AVIF), responsive images, caching, SSR/ISR where appropriate.
